"Destroying any nation does not require the use of atomic bombs or the use of long-range missiles. It only requires lowering the quality of education and allowing cheating in the examinations by the students. “- Nelson Mandela

I am elated to welcome all the students, teaching members, non-teaching staff and parents of the students on behalf of Domkal Girls’ College (established in 2011). This Institution has committed itself to the goal of providing quality education to the students who generally come from relatively backward areas. This Institution is also keen on offering equal attention to the all-round improvement of the students and to provide them with adequate opportunities to develop their creative and artistic talents.

Our motto is to impart holistic education to our students, to make a complete person who enters this institution as a student. A majority of our students are not only economically backward but also first-generation learners. Apart from formal education we emphasise extracurricular activities as well. We believe one candle can lighten up several others. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Keeping this view in mind our faculty members attempt whole-heartedly to inspire the students. We believe that our students are a store house of talents and to polish and nurture this potential a lot of activities are arranged throughout the year. We are ready to help our future generation to build a ‘brave new world’ where compassion, harmony, fraternity and empathy will reign supreme. I wish all the students a fruitful stay in the College and to extend the ‘Domkal Girls’ College Family’ with the support of faculty members, members of the administrative staff, alumni, parents and other academic bodies with whom we collaborate. I firmly believe in the principle of harmony of all. If everyone marches ahead towards the goal of holistic education, then-
Patients will never die at the hands of genuine doctors.
Buildings will never collapse at the hands of properly educated engineers.
Money will never lose at the hands of sincere economists and accountants.
Humanity will never die at the hands of religious scholars.
Justice will never lose at the hands of judges.
